I like the colour scheme as it's bright and cheery.

But the masthead takes up too much space, i.e. I have to scroll down to see the forum threads which is a bit annoying.

Perhaps you can tweak to have a smaller masthead so that users can read the forum threads and jump in without scrolling too far down?
